So Sherlock and John were hiding from a criminal in a closet (it's not Closeted by Sexxica) and John got hard. After the criminal is gone and they get out, Sherlock asks "Do you need a...?" and John says yes thinking he means moment and Sherlock goes to touch John and John is like "A MoMENT sHERLOcK nOT A HaND!!!"

Review: I really liked this fic because of its length and complexity. (I actually listens to it while I crocheted). Long case fic that keeps you interested with the development of John and Sherlock’s relationship. I felt the balance of the two was perfect. The ending is a small bit of hurt/comfort which I adored, because I’m not a fan of fics ending after the case is done and over with. Overall, a very good fic and would definitely read again.
Hello! I know you found this a while back, but I’m looking for a fic where John gets triggered by the fireworks and Sherlock gives him earbuds and they go to the Underground so he’s less upset. Do you still have that saved somewhere?

Hello again! Do you have any fics where John is able to make Sherlock do something (like eating and sleeping) and everyone else is just shocked/in awe? It’s a rather weird request, so please don’t be bothered if you can’t find anything.
Ah, I can only immediately think of two fics that have elements of this request within them:
Manipulation by sixbynine(K+, 2,566 w., 1 Ch. || Experimenting John, Reverse Psychology) – John Watson is not as unobservant as Sherlock thinks, nor is he above using what he knows. Even if it is just to make sure Sherlock eats and sleeps.

As you know I love your fic rec lists. (And your fics) I'm always thrilled to find "older" Johnlock fics--from 2010 to 2014--and wonder whether you have already made up a list of classic favorites. I've seen the top-26 list, for example. Just wondered if you had ever focused on the early Johnlock. Thank you so much for all your generosity.

I just pretend that “what to do when your flatmate is homicidal” is a sequel.

stream of consciousness from Sherlock ostensibly writing in a diary, we see the
lives of John and Sherlock as they build a relationship together amidst the
insanity that is John and Sherlock. This
work is sweet, weird, sexy, adorable and addictive with lots of fluff, but
beware the bit of angst slipped in.
The Progress of

John leaves to marry Mary though Sherlock knows she will cheat. John and Mary

BDSM relationship with John that is moving from sex into love is healing
Sherlock in ways he can’t comprehend. Philosophy, Buddhism, knife play, opera
as metaphor – a heady mix of crazy and sublime.

AU with John and Sherlock as baseball players. Sherlock is a hot young pitcher,

multi-year sweeping epic drama of John and Sherlock getting together, breaking
up, but always orbiting each other in all that they do. So well written, with tons of angst, but light at the end of the tunnel. SO MUCH ANGST.
I've been trying to find a recent post of yours where you were asked for "Oh. Oh." moment fics because I've just read A Promise Made to Be Broken by PlantsAreNeat
and wanted to comment that there's one there. I couldn't find the post, though.
I'd also like to say that I enjoyed this fic as for once it's not for a case.. but it's a fake/pretend-relationship nonetheless.

OMG IS THERE!??!?! I LITERALLY READ THIS FIC 3 TIMES A YEAR AT LEAST, and it’s my fave fic ever, HOW did I miss that?!?!?!??!?!?!? I’m not joking, I gush about this fic all the time, and Iove it. In fact here it is:
A Promise Made to Be Broken by PlantsAreNeat(E, 37,018 w., 7 Ch. || Fake Relationship, Pining, Slow Burn, RST, Eventual Relationship, Primarily POV Sherlock) – A young John makes an ‘if we’re still single at 40, we’ll get together’ pledge to a woman who ends up all wrong for him. She keeps reminding him of the promise, and won’t let go of it. John asks Sherlock to pose as his boyfriend at a family wedding, so as to dash her hopes permanently. Sherlock, who has at last acknowledged his feelings for John, reluctantly agrees despite knowing how painful it will be to ‘have’ John, but not keep him.

I like it because it’s a rare “fake relationship from Sherlock’s POV” fic, AND the characters are so IN character with how I read them, so it’s just my comfort read :)
